Behind the name Simon & Gloria is founder Miriam Amdur, a gemologist and jewelry designer who guides her smart and stylish clients.

We specialize in bespoke engagement rings, custom-designed with beautiful gemstones and handcrafted in our Toronto workshop, alongside a thoughtfully curated collection of vintage jewelry.

Meet the Founder

Inspired by the emotional connection people have with jewelry, Miriam set out to create a space where you can discover and create truly unique pieces. 
A graduate of the Schulich School of Business, Miriam earned her degree in International Business. Her studies gave her a global perspective, further enriched by her experiences living in France and the United States, which deepened her appreciation for culture and design.

Her goal is to ensure that you feel confident, informed, and excited about your jewelry purchase.

Miriam is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America in New York. Her gemological training allows her to carefully evaluate each gemstone and piece of jewelry, guaranteeing authenticity and quality.
