Let's Get Started
Step 1: Initial Consultation
The process begins with either a brief phone consultation or a studio visit with Miriam. As a private jeweller, our goal is to optimize your design preferences, timeline, and budget. We'll use this initial consult to understand exactly what you're looking for and to address any inquiries you may have.
If you're planning an engagement, please keep in mind that the process takes 6-12 weeks, depending on the design and the gemstones needed.
Step 2: The Design
Following the consultation, Miriam will put together some design ideas to help you decide on the style of the ring, setting and the cut of the gemstone.
Step 3: Studio Meeting & Choosing the Gemstone
Once the design is decided on, you'll meet with Miriam at her Vaughan studio to select the central gemstone. Sourcing diamonds and coloured stones is one of our specialties in the custom process, and because the gemstones go directly from trusted dealers to you, we're able to minimize markup.
If you're unable to make it to our studio, this part of the process can also be done over video. Please note that for custom pieces, all stones under 0.5 carats are selected by Miriam.
Step 4: Your Approval
As your ring comes to life, Miriam will share a CAD (Computer Aided Design) of the ring. This will help you understand exactly how the ring will look once it's ready and you'll be able to make any final adjustments.
Step 5: The Workshop
Your piece will be handcrafted in Toronto by master craftsmen with over 40 years of experience. Each piece reflects exceptional attention to detail. Every design is carefully inspected to ensure it meets the highest standards of beauty, comfort, and lasting durability.
Step 6: Pick Up Day
Once the ring is ready, Miriam will contact you to arrange your pick-up. Delivery options can be discussed.
We’ll make sure everything is perfectly prepared for your proposal—including a ready-to-ask box. We also offer complimentary resizing within 90 days of pickup, so your ring feels as comfortable as it is beautiful.
